Eva Pöpplein

Eva Poepplein, computermusician, works as a free improviser and remixer with bands and solo artists. Her electronics incorporate field-recordings and analog sounds into a recognizable sonic language. In her highly productive duo Merzouga with electric bassist/radio-author Janko Hanushevsky she produces and composes innovative radio-plays, documentaries, and Ars Acustica. Their works were broadcast by all major German broadcasters, Yleisradio Finland, RTÈ Ireland, Austrian, Croatian, and Swiss radio, and repeatedly awarded. Premiere performances at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Deutschlandfunk Kammermusiksaal and at Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
